Bi-Annual Used Book Sale
In compliance with with the Safer at Home order for control of COVID-19, all LA County Library locations will be closed until further notice.
During this closure, due dates for borrowed materials will automatically be extended, no late fines will be assessed, and customers can return materials when the Library reopens.
We are still open online, and any LA County resident who does not have a library card can sign up for a temporary digital library card for access to digital resources such as eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, movies, music, homework help, online classes, and more. The Friends Bookstore is open during regular Library hours.
Hundreds of gently used books for sale and we accept book donations.

Friends of Acton/Agua Dulce Library got together on Saturday, June 15, 2019 to celebrate volunteers. A wonderful brunch was served, and beautiful hand-crafted awards, made by Ramona Hall, were gifted to six outstanding bookstore volunteers. These volunteers have donated hundreds of hours of their time and creative efforts.
Friends of Acton/Agua Dulce Library are people who share a passion for reading, a love for their community, and a strong appreciation of libraries. They are interested in fundraising and promoting awareness of the library.
Friends of Acton/Agua Dulce Library support by:
Holding fundraising events such as book sales, author events, and a fabulous High Tea in the spring
Sponsoring and staffing library events
Helping to recruit volunteers
Friends of Acton/Agua Dulce Library is a self-supporting non-profit entity. Membership is open to anyone interested in helping to enhance library services in the community.
